I am an ordinary guy, blessed with an extraordinary life. I live and breathe with an amazing wife I call "sj" and three other sweet humans who call me dad. I live beneath a canopy of redwoods and enjoy serving in an intentional community. I value the gospel being lived and spoken when necessary. I search, and I strive to be what I hope to find in others, genuine, real, and authentic. I love spending time with children watching them discover themselves while discovering their Savior.

I am loving my second full year as the Program Director. Lori and I love living in the redwoods and can't wait to share another summer with the amazing campers who will make their way up the mountain this year. I love living in a place where it is evident everyday who my creator is, and how much he loves me.

I have spent the last nineteen years growing up at Camp Hammer and thank God for that opportunity every day. Needless to say, I know Camp like the back of my hand and love it's uniqueness-the changing of the seasons, the beauty of the forest, the community. I have worked in the kitchen for a number of years, and after acquiring a degree from the Cabrillo College Culinary Arts department, I am now enjoying my time as Camp's Food Service Manager. I love to connect with the many different people come to Camp Hammer and share with them the overwhelming love they can experience by knowing God.

I have lived in Santa Cruz my entire life. I graduated from Scotts Valley High in 2003 and I am working on finishing my GE at Cabrillo. Favorite Verse: Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — which is your spiritual worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
