Unfortunately, no one from '96 is here in the kitchen (although Mossi may have been serving that year). So many awesome people from Camp Kitchen Past have approached me at the BBQ though and told me about their experiences! Awooga, Rocky, and Sweetpea to name a few!

I love that you still do Making Eggs on Sunday nights! We did it every Sunday years ago when we worked at camp, and let me just say that my hubby SKA was the Making Eggs master! I can't wait for our son to get to experience it this summer! I know he will be blessed by everyone on staff, especially the kitchen staff!!

I experienced first hand what it meant to work in the Camp Hammer kitchen last summer. It was rigorous work, yet so rewarding to my soul. It brought me back to my younger days at summer camp, where I first encountered Jesus and made him Lord of my life. The reward of serving, the challenging messages and the lasting friendships and of course the wonderful food, will be in my memory forever.

I cannot believe it is Christmas already. 2010 is just around the corner. I hope all of the campers from 2009 can return and bring a friend along with them. Liger and I are excited for recruiting and the amazing staff God has planned for summer 2010. Maybe you? Merry Christmas everyone! I hope to see you around during the holiday break. -Mossi
