Every camper will experience a healthy blend of recreational activities with friends, building relationships with caring leaders, and inspirational learning about life and the God who created it. Our priority is creating a fun and safe environment in which every child can make some unforgettable memories and go home with a renewed appreciation for life.

At Camp Hammer we believe in experiential learning, which creates tangible examples of the lessons being taught, and allows campers to interact with leaders and peers to gain a better understanding. Activities like rope swings, zip lines, team competitions, and adventurous night games help campers challenge themselves and remember what they have learned.
The Camp Hammer summer staff comes from a variety of colleges throughout the United States. They all have experience working with youth. In order to be hired they must submit an application, go through an in-depth interview, and submit professional and personal references. The staff begins their summer with training sessions about safety, camp policy and expectations, specific job training, and an overview of youth development to equip them for working with youth all summer. Our intentional community of staff serve and care for each camper to the best of their ability.
